From the very beginning, we have retained female offspring born on the farm, without purchasing animals from outside sources. Rams are carefully selected to ensure strong genetics and the continued development of the flock. Today, the farm counts around 300 sheep and continues to improve both meat and milk production.
OUR FARM
While many were leaving livestock farming, Cerovac Farm continued to build its flock through its own breeding. From the first pen “beneath the granary” to expanded sheep barns, growth has been gradual and grounded in hard work, knowledge, and perseverance.
Cerovac Farm today develops sheep farming, cattle farming, and contract pig rearing. Alongside meat and milk production, wine and rakija are also produced on the estate in limited quantities. The goal is the gradual expansion of cattle farming to become more independent from market fluctuations.
